Rated “5 Stars” – I have used VA Gold Buyers twice, and I just wanted to tell everyone how happy I was with their service. After getting an online quote for a piece of jewelry that I wanted to sell, and also getting an in-person price from another jewelry buying establishment, they were BY FAR the best price, AND, their service was wonderful. I don’t remember the gentleman from my first visit, but this time I worked with Carlos, and he was so helpful about explaining the process of the sale and how they worked out the price I received. I know it’s hard to decide the best way to handle this type of transaction without a lot of knowledge, but VA Gold Buyers made me feel comfortable, they were very pleasant and I will definitely be back to them for any future jewelry making needs, jewelry selling, etc.

Rated “Excellent” – I came by to sell gold, and some pieces I wasn’t even sure if they were gold or not, and thankfully they tested them in a minute and weighed them, and that was it! I got $50 for a bunch of silver and gold pieces that were just sitting in my jewelry box for years. Then I also bought some new earrings with that money. A great discovery and talking to owner was very informative as well as a delight. Definitely keeping them on my list for upcoming holidays and whenever else I need to sell some scrap gold. Afterwards when I went home, I looked up how much gold was and realized that they gave me a great deal compared to other “buying gold” competitors, so I feel very lucky indeed! Excellent service!

Rated “Excellent” – If you want to sell any valuables, definitely go here! The owner/goldsmith was extremely professional in a courteous manner. He did not make me feel pressured to sell in any way. He was nice enough to explain every step as he valued my gold, also explaining how he calculated the prices in detail. Every goldsmith I went to did not do this, so I really appreciated it. He only takes a small portion for profit – especially compared to other competitors. He offered 1500 for the gold, and the same amount was shown to other jewelers who offered 700 to 900!! Then I checked online gold for cash-like websites, and they offered just a tiny bit over 1000. If I ever want to sell gold again, I’m definitely going back!!

The store is tucked away in a new area with a bunch or other random stores in a generic commercial building. You must ring the doorbell to get in, which is understandable given the high priced jewelry they have in the store. They responded immediately to the doorbell, sat down with me immediately and quickly took care of everything I was there for. The gentleman I worked with was friendly, professional and efficient.
The salesman valued three gold rings, a few sets of gold hoop earrings, and a few gold bracelets – most were 14 karat. He offered me over $600 dollars for these items, which I happily accepted. Because they do not purchase gems, he removed the gems from the gold settings and gave them back to me in a small plastic baggy.
My second task was to have a battery changed in my Omega Seamaster watch (high quality). Most jewelers will keep the watch for at least a week and charge $25 to change the battery. This gentleman changed the battery while I waited (only took a few minutes) and then charged me only $10.
This was a great experience and I will definitely be using this store again for any future jewelry needs.

I don’t know if I could have gotten more somewhere else but the owner was extremely friendly, helpful, gave me an estimate in less than 10 mins and cash right away. It was a good experience.
